What will you do?
You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient data pipelines in AWS. Your work will be essential to ensure the availability, quality, and governance of the data that drives our strategic decisions.
Specifically, you will:
Build and maintain robust, automated ETL/ELT pipelines.
Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, files, etc.), ensuring its quality and traceability.
Collaborate with Data Science, BI, and Product teams to understand data needs and deliver technical solutions.
Optimize performance of data ingestion and transformation processes.
Apply best practices for data security, governance, and regulatory compliance.
Document processes and uphold high development standards.
What do we value?
Essential:
Experience developing in Python for data processing, analysis, and exploitation.
Experience developing and consuming APIs and data integration services.
Hands-on experience with containers and OpenShift environments.
Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Couchbase, or similar).
Experience with Elasticsearch Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash).
Solid understanding of Data Lakes and Data Warehouses.
Experience with Python data analytics libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark.
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly.
Experience with DevOps tools, including Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, and testing frameworks such as PyTest.
Strong technical English skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience with data streaming technologies such as Kafka.
Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop.
Experience with data governance and security.
Previous experience in the financial sector or other regulated environments.
Experience with Java and Spring Boot development.
